First up we have liv.rent, a platform that takes the right steps in creating a trusted rental community for both renters and landlords. Through an identity verification process confirmed by the liv.rent team, as well as the ability to complete an entire rental process on the platform itself, this website ensures all members of their community can rent with confidence. To add, liv.rent creates great blog guides for tenants, covering everything from general renting tips to Toronto/Ontario-specific content.

Liv.rent features secure instant chat that allows for easy communication between landlords and renters. Furthermore, to ensure listings’ availability are accurate this website archives them after 45 days and requests the landlord to republish it. Talk about efficiency!

Zumper is another platform that’s at the forefront of the digital world of renting. With features similar to liv.rent, such as digital payments and digital contracts, you’re sure to have a simplified rental process.

A unique feature this site has is the ability to filter by long-term rentals, short-term rentals and even vacation rentals! RentSeeker has an array of Toronto apartments, condos, houses, townhouses and more ready to be rented. If you’re a student, then RentSeeker is a great site for finding an apartment in the city. Zolo comes with many great features that’ll help narrow down your rental search. This website comes with an array of unique search filters such as square footage options, the number of days the listing has been up on Zolo, a keywords search bar, and more. Considering Zolo is a mobile-first company, their app leads you to an easy and responsive contact form that connects you to a property manager/agent within just 15-30 minutes.

Among these stellar features, the website automatically updates its listings every minute! Meaning, you have the chance to consistently check out the latest and greatest listings, giving you the most available options to choose from.

Point2 Toronto

Point2 Toronto is yet another great website for an easy and efficient renting process, showcasing around 3,000 rental properties in Toronto. By validating listings from property managers through their sister company RENTCafé, Point2 ensures the safest possible rental search experience.

On the listing itself, a direct link to email the property manager/agent is available, along with access to their full profile! To add, rental listings are checked and updated daily, providing accurate availability on listings.

Condos.ca is one of Toronto’s largest guides to finding rental properties.
