No. In fact, Duuo has never charged cancellation fees! That’s part of how we try to do insurance differently.
If you would like to cancel a policy, you are welcome to do that up until 11:59pm EST the day before your policy is set to begin. If you miss this deadline, please email one of our licensed insurance reps at info@duuo.ca and we will try our best to assist you.
You will receive a full refund of your premium (cost). It may take up to a few days to receive your refund (depending on your credit card company).
No. Duuo Event Insurance does not include coverage for event cancellation. However, if you choose to cancel your Event Insurance policy we will happily refund the full premium (cost).

Duuo Event Insurance does not include coverage or monetary compensation for event cancellation. However, if you would like to cancel your Event Insurance policy we will happily refund the full premium (cost).

An Event policy can only be cancelled if the day of the Event has not arrived. The latest a policy can be cancelled is 11:59pm EST the day prior to the Event date. If you miss this deadline, please email one of our licensed insurance reps at info@duuo.ca and we will try our best to assist you.
To cancel, login to your Duuo Account and go to your Event dashboard. Click on the three white dots beside your Event. Click again on Delete to Cancel the Event.
Please note that once the policy has been “deleted/cancelled”, the refund will be processed on our end immediately, to be credited to the credit card used for the transaction.
No. Duuo does not provide coverage for bodily injury or property damage that results from communicable diseases (such as COVID-19).
While you are free to cancel your Duuo policy to receive a full refund, Duuo does not reimburse hosts for lost revenues.

- From the Stays Dashboard, select DELETE on the hamburger menu on the right.
- From the Stays Dashboard, select VIEW STAY on the hamburger menu, and then the ‘Delete stay /policy’ button.
