There’s no denying that it’s been a weird year, and as we began to wrap up the rollercoaster that was 2020 we wanted to take the pulse of our Duuo community to find out how they were feeling about our services.
In November 2020 we sent out the very first Duuo customer satisfaction survey with the intention of learning more about the ways our clients interact with our brand, and how we could improve their experience in 2021.
We know that with so many things going on, completing a survey from your insurance company might not be high on your priority list. That’s why we decided to add a little extra incentive for our customers.
As a digital insurance company, Duuo is committed to creating eco-friendly communities and reducing our carbon footprint. With that in mind, we decided to reach out to Tree Canada to create a partnership that would allow us to plant trees on behalf of our customers. For each person that filled out our customer satisfaction survey, a selection of trees would be planted in communities across Canada in 2021.
As we sent out the survey, we were thrilled to see the participation from our community. Here are some of the results we found:
- Most of our customers are purchasing our tenant insurance coverage.
- More than half of our customers find out about us through Google.
- We were delighted to see that 79% of customers surveyed said that purchasing insurance with Duuo was “extremely easy”.
- 97.7% of customers would be sad if Duuo no longer existed. Aw, we’d miss you guys too!
With the responses gathered, we were able to plant 400 trees with Tree Canada on behalf of our customers, reducing carbon emissions by 80 tons! Through this initiative, Duuo ended the year as a carbon-neutral organization.
When going through these responses, we were overjoyed that our customers seem to be as excited about Duuo as we are! We want to thank all our clients for participating in our survey and sticking with us through this challenging year.
